Canwell Church - Built in 1911 as a private Church for Canwell Hall. St Mary, St Giles and All Saints
Canwell Hall - Canwell Hall was a children's hospital taking children from Birmingham, but it closed after the Queen's coronation in 1953. A planning application was made which was refused, and the Hall fell into disrepair before being demolished in the late 1950s or early 1960s. There is a photo of the Hall here. Today, a bungalow stands on the site of the Hall but a planning application has been approved to demolish this and build a new country house.
