These lists were largely collated by a previous Church Warden named Gerald Blackburn, and we are grateful to him for his work. The lists may contain errors because compiling details from old documentation is not easy. The words are sometimes unclear, the spelling of names varies (one person might be recorded under two slightly different names), and there could also have been mistakes in the original documents. However, they make interesting reading and it is possible to track some people and their families.
