Hints History
Hints has a rich history. Here we make a broad distinction between those things which have been recorded or have become known through Church records, and those which have become known through other sources. They are of course all part of the same history, and we are most grateful for the permissions we have received to allow publication of much of this. Please see the acknowledgements. We are able to include some information on the people of Hints either because we have found old documents, or because people have provided information which we can use. If you know something about a Hints family of times gone by, please let us know. It all helps.
